Covering the Ozarks, and more, since 2020

When we step out of our comfort zone and send an email or other message to a prospective business partner and there isn’t a response it can feel like a deliberate rejection. However, just like you they are probably wading through a ton a mail or have a spam filter working overtime on the wrong messages. Not only is it easy to miss a message that you wanted to see, it can be very easy to mistype the email address and it never gets to the person you hoped. Follow up! If you see the person, don’t be afraid to ask if they got the message. More often than not, it was not a rejection. The opportunity to talk about the reason you wanted to connect can make a lasting impression and be the start of a wonderful business relationship.
