We’ve talked about the benefits of boundaries within your work schedule. While it’s important to stick to them there will be times when you need to flexible. Knowing when to do so is easy if you follow this rule, make exceptions for the exceptional. For example, I was approached to schedule outside of my studio time for a guest that was not on point with communication and extremely uncertain of their schedule. This was not exceptional. However, had this potential guest been more together and better at communicating this would be an exceptional guest worth being flexible for. Hence, Make Exceptions for the Exceptional.
