Today’s Tip: Don’t Depend On Social Media

Social Media seems like a necessary evil. You do want to have a presence but keep in mind that it could go away tomorrow. When we are at the mercy of a particular platform, we give them too much control because they may be gone tomorrow and then what? These platforms are designed to keep users engaged and if that means changing the algorithm every other day, then they will. You have a lot to do besides guessing how much reach IG will give you on any given day. Yes, use it but don’t solely depend on it. Remember, you’re an independent creator so you can be the captain of your own ship so stay in the driver’s seat and stay the course.
