Covering the Ozarks, and more, since 2020

Keeping up with the Kurrent (haha) current artists is a full time job. Most of the time artists have been working for years before they turn up on the music scene and many have a mad skill set to accommodate each talent they possess. Doja Cat is no different. She’s been working in the industry since 2013 but only recently did she started getting her song, “Say So” in rotation on mainstream stations. It’s a catchy tune that might make you wonder why you didn’t know more about Amala Zanlile Dlamini aka Doja Cat. The Los Angeles native signed with RCA Records in 2014 and sings, raps, writes, and produces. The year prior she released her debut single, “So High” on SoundCloud. She’s been on the receiving end of backlash for using homophobic slurs on social media. Doja Cat has since issues apologies and deleted her tweets. She hopes to resume her Hot Pink Tour after the coronavirus pandemic.
